Quality in teaching is of vital importance to education. Quality assurance encourages continuous improvement in schools.  For everyone involved in higher education, research in and awareness of developing such a culture of quality assurance will significantly benefit both the educator and the educated.

A collection of abstracts of my published journal articles and presentations on issues in the areas of accreditation, assessment of student learning outcomes, and faculty development is provided here.  A series of (unpublished) personal short discussions on such issues is also periodically presented and invites comments from readers.

In addition are also provided links to the websites of the six U.S. regional accreditation commissions, U.S. national and specialized accreditation commissions/agencies that are recognized by the USDE and/or CHEA.

The Evaluation Standards currently used by the Higher Education Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Education, P. R. China are also provided for those interested in the evaluation and assessment in higher education in China. Other evaluation research institutes and agencies in China are included.
