The first three unit exams (100 points each) consist of 42 multiple-choice questions and one full-page essay. These are based on the material covered in that unit. The final exam (150 points) consists of 65 multiple-choice, one full- page essay and one short essay. Approximately 100 points are on the fourth unit and 50 points are review of major concepts from previous units. Students are expected to take all exams at their regularly scheduled time. If one exam is missed, the student will take a comprehensive make-up exam during the final exam time period. If more than one exam is missed, the grade on additional missed exams will be zero.
Below are sample exams for each unit. Use them as guidelines for the types of questions that will be asked on the exam. Simply memorizing the answers to these exams will not give you a good grade on the actual exam.
